Closing Costs and the Closing Process
Once an offer has been negotiated and accepted, the buyer will provide us with Earnest Money. The Earnest Money shows how “earnest” the buyer’s offer is. If the buyer cannot close on the sale after all the contingencies have been met, the seller will retain the Earnest Money. The Earnest Money will be deposited in the broker trust account and held until closing.
There are closing costs associated with purchasing a home. State deed tax, sale commission and closing fee are a few. Your Pederson Realty REALTOR® will provide you with a complete accounting of all expenses to determine what your proceeds will be at closing.
